Help Teachers Have a Happy New Year!

We're in the process of putting together teacher/site applications for the 2010-2011 school year, and we want your input. Do you know a teacher in the King County area that would appreciate custom-designed curriculum, robotics kits, training and support at no cost for the year? Let us know! We will be sending out applications to nominated teachers and sites in late February, and will be awarding grants to chosen schools in the spring.

While we have our VP of Technology busy at work creating an interactive teacher support section for the website (complete with nomination forms), we are currently accepting nominations at info@technicallylearning.org. You should include: the school's name, grades served, any demographic information you have, teachers' names, principals'/deans' names, and -- most important -- your reason for nominating this teacher or school. Perhaps budget setbacks have prevented the purchase of new equipment this year. Maybe your nominated teacher is particularly innovative with technology in the classroom. Whatever the reason, please make a case for your school; while teachers will have a chance to do so in their applications, it won't hurt to hear why you are making the nomination.
